Tiles, Tapas, Tequila, & More with Porcelanosa

On Thursday May, 2nd 2019, LA.IDEA|DC celebrated its 4th annual early celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Hosted by Porcelanosa. Tiles, Tapas, Tequila & More with Porcelanosa brought together architects, engineers, and design professionals from the DMV area.

The evening started with a networking and cocktail hour in which attendees were able to tour the showroom and find inspiration from all the displays and samples. Spanish music, margaritas, tacos and guacamole were the preamble before the start of the evenings program. Jose Leo Arango, LA.IDEA’s Co-chair, introduced the committee and welcomed the attendees

After recognizing Porcelanosa for their support and hosting the evenings celebration, Santiago Manent, Porcelanosa’s DC General Manager, gave a brief introduction of the showroom and products.

Carlos Monsonis, Krion® Solid Surface Sales Manager, presented the krion® Solid Surface line and explained Porcelanosa’s process of fabrication and commitment to sustainability. Carlos focused the presentation on Krion® K-life, Porcelanosa’s newest product which when it is in contact with light, its components are able to purify the air, self-clean, expel harmful bacteria, and eliminate chemical products – a great new product for the food service and health industries among others. The evening ended with an opportunity to learn firsthand about the Krion® and Porcelanosa’s products with the showroom representatives on site, while enjoying the rest of the reception.
